Can Tops Explained | Augusta Label and Packaging

Have you ever wondered about all the different designations out there when it comes to can tops?  We did, to so hopefully, this graphic helps.

B64: This is probably the most widely used top in the US.

The Super End:                  This end features a unique countersink wall angle and reinforcing bead, significantly reducing material use.

CDL+ / CDL+ / CDL-E: / ISE:           A very popular design in Europe.  It is the lightest lid in the industry and a successor to the B64 lid.

OLOF+:                 Hardly ever used
